The service:

http://skyserver.sdss.org/vo/DR12SIAP/SIAP.asmx/getSiapInfo?&FORMAT=image/fits&BANDPASS=ugriz&POS=3,3&SIZE=.01

...returns a VOTable. However, the images are not always downloadable.
