Guess you speak English, no there's no English docs, pretty much because it's a Japanese TTS.

I see, I was able to accomplish what I wanted with voicevox anyway at https://github.com/0xspringtime/voicevox-anki but documentation in english would still be good for other devs wanting to create Japanese learning tools like me.

IDK the docs are very basic Japanese with most terminologies written in katakana, machine translation like deepl could already handle it very well IMO.

@0xspringtime A massive thank you for sharing your works. I have a mac M1 and the docker image does not work. I tried going through some out of date instructions to build from source. Couldn't overcome the problems.

Thankfully, I have an ageing macbook 15" 2012 and is able to run the docker cpu instance fine. Next problem, I wasn't able to generate sound files remotely. Using your node server file, I am now able to.

So many hoops to jump through, but now at the other end. It really shouldn't be this difficult. The biggest criticism that I have with the docs are there are no step by step installation instructions. 🤷‍♂️

Since our goal is to get more people using VOICEVOX, it is not negative to maintain the English version of the documentation, but other tasks have higher priority because of lack of time. ;-)

If you can pull request the English documentation in a way that does not reduce the maintainability of the Japanese documentation, we would like to merge it. Maybe it could be just some of them, like how to install!

我々の目的はVOICEVOXをより多くの方に使っていただくことなので、英語版のドキュメントを整備することは否定的ではありませんが、時間がないため他のタスクが優先されています。;-)

日本語のドキュメントのメンテナンス性が下がらない形で英語のドキュメントをプルリクエストしてくだされば、マージしたいと思います。 インストール方法など一部だけでも良いかもしれませんね！
