paste into VSCodium stops working often when copying from external window - requires machine restart

Describe the bug VSCodium - debian package install - will eventually stop being able to paste clipboard content when it is from external windows, though if copied within vscode, paste still works.

Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific

• [ ] This bug doesn't happen if I use Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It only happens in VSCodium. I can't confirm this as I don't have VSCode

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Launch VSCodium, working away for some time and copy and pasting links from firefox to vscodium.
2. Eventually paste stops working and requires machine restart to work again.

Expected behavior Paste doesn't stop working

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Debian 12 Stable
• Architecture: amd64
• Version: 1.90.2 7d98c6de73fb939f1eb4b8a500c569b858b2d297 x64
• App Manager: apt
• Sandboxed: no

Same situation on:

• ArchLinux
• Hyprland
• VSCodium-bin installed from AUR

Can't copy stuff from outside the VSCodium window. CTRL+SHIFT+V does nothing.

Same problen in Hyprland if i copy from terminal. then not problem

I haven't had this issue yet in hyprland on Alpine Linux with code-oss. VSCodium is only available as Flatpak on Alpine so I can't test.
