Cannot open kdb files in Moto G #650

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Copy kdb files from Drive into Moto G Download folder
2.Open Keepassdroid
3.I can't select kdb files. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to have some selectable files. But I see the files in grey color

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Keepassdroid 1.99.10; Android 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
I can access this kdb files from USB or from LG 2X (Android 2.3)

same problem here. it's sad, because I can't then change all my passwords and 
use the app to manage it.

Moto E has same problem.
Keepassdroid 2.0
Android 4.4.4
Moto E Republic Wireless 21.11.31.condor_repw.repw.en.US.spring
kdb and kdbx files grayed-out Internal and External (microSD)
Can open files from phone with desktop keepass via usb

Workaround: open kdb or kdbx files from an Android file explorer.  ES File 
Explorer works.1785
