What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Edit any entry and try to save it.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected result is that the update to the entry would be saved. Instead, I
am receiving an "permission denied" error.

/mnt/extSdCard/keepasskeepass.kdb.tmp: open failed: EACCES (Permission denied)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
KeePassDroid 1.99.11
Android Kitkat 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This started happening after my Verizon Galaxy S3 was upgraded to Android
Kitkat 4.4.2.

Tried clearing the application cache and that didn't seem to help.

WORKAROUND: I copied the KeePassDroid database from the external SD card to
internal phone storage and that seems to work. I'd prefer to keep the database
on the external SD card, but at least now I can update entries.

I checked the application permissions. See attached screenshot. The application
appears to have permission to modify and read the external SD card, so maybe
this is an Android Kitkat 4.4.2 issue?
