Hi, thanks for your message. I used shapefiles from the Global Data Lab, see the following link: https://globaldatalab.org/mygdl/downloads/shapefiles/#:~:text=To%20compare%20sub%2Dnational%20regions,which%20can%20be%20downloaded%20below. I used version 4. Ah yeah about the figures, they are published in the paper: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-024-03864-2

May I ask, do you have shapefiles or documentation about the spatial regions used? The "FIGURES" folder mentioned in the README is not present in the git repo nor the Harvard Dataverse data repo.
