Cannot download Advanced REST client to chrome #226

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go to Chrome Web Store.
2.Find the "Advanced REST client".
3.Click on Download.

Got an error :

An error has occurred
There was a problem adding the item to Chrome. Please refresh the page and try 
again.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
App should be added to my chrome account but it does not.

On what operating system, browser and browser version?
Windows 7.2 , Chrome

Please provide any additional information below.

It looks like some chrome Web store issue. The app is working properly. I'm 
trying to figure it out what's wrong.

I got this issue as well. All my saved history is gone. This is frustrating. 
Has it been resolved? What's the solution?

Same here, Im using Windows 7 Professional 32-bit... The Advanced-Rest-Client 
cannot be seen in Apps Tab, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Chrome, but 
still getting the same result... My Chrome Version: 39.0.2171.65 m

Same here, was working still 3 hrs back, couldn't download.Getting exact same 
message. Advanced rest client icon is also gone from my Google apps.

I have also the same problem since yesterday. My Chrome version is 39.0.2171.65

Same problem since today. Yesterday all was fine...
Before the app was also showing normally with a thumbnail in:

chrome://apps/

but it is not showing there any longer.

I am also seeing this now.  Windows 7 x64 / Chrome version 39.0.2171.65 m.

It looks like the most recent batch of comments all have that Chrome version in 
common.

I just tested it on the dev channel version and it is still broken.

I reverted back to 35.0.1916.114 m and it installs correctly again.
