I had this installed and it seems to have disappeared. When trying to
re-install I'm getting the same error message. Wonder if Chrome broke something
it needed? 39.0.2171.27 beta (64-bit) Mac OSX

I rolled back to the stable version of Chrome and the plug-in is still there
(chrome 38.0.2125.104) - so something broke between version 38=>39 it would
seem.

Mac OS Version 39.0.2171.36 beta (64-bit)

also suffers.

I suspect it's somehow tied into multiple google identities.

Is there anyone that uses has it broken and has never used more then 1 login in
the life of Chrome?

I have a Legacy Packaged App that also started to fail to install once Chrome
was updated to Version 39.0.2171.65 m. We have had reports of people who had
the app installed yesterday, who have updated to V39 and now cannot run the
app.

It looks like it works now. Can anyone confirm?
I've made some changes in the manifest file (as suggested in some google group
discussion) and after a while it started working.
