Jabber can't connect to google talk (ssl fail)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set up jabber with google account
2. try different settings (SSL, TLS, none)
3. try to go online

What is the expected result?
should connect and go online

What happens instead?
stays offline

Since the update to 0.10.10 jabber can't connect to google talk server anymore.
The settings have been unchanged for many years. I tried several different 
configurations (SSL, TSL, none, port 5222, 5223). None of them worked. 
The log always shows "SSL initialisation failed", independent of the said 
configuration!

The attached netlog show following scenarios (seperated by blank lines): 
-SSL port 5222
-TLS port 5222
-SSL port 5223
-TLS port 5223

problem persists in 0.10.11

I think the google talk server has changed:
1)The original gtalk windows app can't sign in either but from g+ or gmail 
website it still works.
2)I played around with the miranda netlog. On some occasions the server will 
return that the website (talk.google.com) has moved to 
http://www.google.com/talk/

I couldn't figure out the new server yet.

still online in 0.9.46 with "Manually specify connection host" option DISABLED 
and TLS port 5222

problem persits in 0.10.13

I tried what #2 suggests but it doesn't work. see log attachement.

I can connect to gtalk with pidgin without any problem on port 5222.

I deleted miranda since it doesn't connect for me either on windows 8 don't 
know why. Digsby connects and pigin too
