Plugin Version # (if applicable) :

What steps will reproduce the problem?

2. Under Options>>Status>>Idle, make sure "Do not set status back to online
when returning from idle" is unchecked
3. Lock computer, wait 5 seconds, unlock computer.

Do you have locked protocols? http://wiki.miranda-im.org/Protocol_status_lock

hi,
i think reason for this is your
 sametime.dll v.0.5.3.2 [25 Jan 2007] - Sametime Protocol

this is the only protocol you have ?
if true, it is to old for miranda 0.8 (no UUID) ansi / unicode version ?

try to use oficial protocol plugins from Miranda 0.8.

if you use 3rd party plugins ask the dev of plugin.

I have used this plug-in (sametime) for 2+ years with each version of Miranda
and
this is the first release (0.8.5) that shows this failure. I have since
downgraded my
Miranda back to 0.8.4 and it works perfectly.

Is your protocol locked?

Real bizarre - it waslocked, but:
1. It works regardless in all versions prior to 0.8.5.
2. Although it is locked, the status was still changing from online->away, but
just
not from away->online.
3. Unlocking it allows it to work correctly

So, I am not sure if my bug is exactly a bug as listed, but the fact that #2
occurs
leads me to believe there is some bug. Maybe there are/were multiple bugs (1:
Locked
sessions go from Online->Away and 2: Locked sessions go from Away->Online) and
possibly the second one was fixed so that I see my behavior but the first one
still
exists.

I'm not able to reproduce this with core protocols...
