HC On Screen Overlay overwriting RTSS "Show On-Screen Display" Function

Describe the bug Before using HC I had a custom RTSS overlay I liked and have a hotkey bound to toggle RTSS "Show OSD" on and off.

While using HC, no matter whether I have HC's Overlay set to Disabled or Full, it will always force my custom RTSS to display. It flashes off and back on at the same Update rate as set by HC. This tells me HC is NOT actually disabling the Overlay. Instead, it seems to be showing "nothing" while forcing the Overlay to stay visible.

Expected behavior

• I expected setting HC's Overlay to External would lead to it handing control over to RTSS itself. Or
• Let us select an exported RTSS overlay file (.ovx/.ovl?) and have that be our OSD in HC.

I expect if I toggle my RTSS OSD to be Off, it will stay Off.

I have the same issue, and I don’t know how fix it

Got the same bug on the Legion Go, still haven't found a way to get it to stop doing it. Overlay just stays on everytime.

If you exit RTSS, Handheld Companion seems to be forcing it to open again. This with the overlay setting on both disabled and external. That's another issue that seems to be happening on the Legion Go too.
