Handheld Comapnion won't open, manually or on startup, on the Lenovo Legion GO #1116

Describe the bug Upon startup or manual open, Handheld Companion appears in task manager but closes soon after and never opens GUI or in the task bar

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: start up the device or open the app manually

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. The app to open and be usable, as it was working just fine until about a day ago

Hey @DilutedOxygen1451 thanks for dropping in. The log doesnt show anything specific unfortunately, but people with similar logs have indicated that a recent GPU driver update caused this.

It might be a long shot, but can you try updating your AMD drivers?

I'm using the latest preview AMD drivers, I'll try reverting to the official release and see if that helps

Whoops didn't mean to close it, sorry

DDU wiping and reinstalling the latest official AMD drivers fixed it, I don't know why the preview 780m graphics drivers broke HC, but as far as I can tell that's the case

Might be good to add some logging to HC for this one.
