Wrong software settings for fan speed

Describe the bug Fan speed never reaching maximum value even if set to 100% in software custom curve

To Reproduce 1) set fan speed to constant 100% value in any custom profile 2) set flag for 'Fan max speed override' in device tab 3) observe the fan strongly increasing speed (it shouldn't be possible as already set to 100% in step 1)

Expected behavior 100% value in sw fan curve shall set maximum available fan speed. Issue is critical as causes device overheating if used with high TDP

First, I was using HandheldCompanion on windows and had the same problem as you.

Second, I installed bazzite before and adjusted the fan speed with HHD, but it didn't work.That's the same thing as the HandheldCompanion.Even if set at 100%, the fan does not reach 100% speed, it is always low speed.

I don't know why, but a lot of information has not found a solution

There must be a solution and the easiest one would be to set the current 100% fan speed at 80% in the graph and switch to forced max at 100%.

Very simple and effective.

As it now it's unusable...
