Ship Engines not making any difference to air ship #191

I am using the 1.1.0-beta.8 release of eureka in the Agora Interregnum mod pack.

I was having trouble getting any speed out of my air ships no matter how many engines I had so I built a very small air ship. Just a crafting bench, engine and balloon. The ship moves at a walking pace no matter if the engine has fuel or not. The animation of the engine is happening and it is giving off light if it has fuel but I am not getting any speed increase.

Any Ideas why this might be occurring?

Nevermind the Modpack author had temporarily reduced the effect of ship engines to 2.0 instead of ~2000000.0
