Ship assembled but cant move and stuck on mid air, even breaking the ship helm

This issue occurs when only Valkyrien Skies and addons are installed and no other mods

[X] I have tested this issue and it occurs when no other mods are installed

Issue description

so i did installed a modpack with friend but when i try to create a ship, it said assembled or even with a ship creator stick it said the ship is created but nothing happen. just a normal block in mid air

Issue reproduction

i got a modpack called sneak's pirate so i added in some addition mod to make the gameplay less bored

1.16 VS2 is unsupported and hasn't been updated for 2 years

but my friend cant play 1.17+ so is there any solution?

What problem does your friend have with 1.17+, do they have a potato or is it straight up crashing?

as you guessed, his computer is potato yeah he doesnt have opengl 3.1+
