News section? #6

I think it would be useful to have if we can remain committed to posting updates.

The updated site has built-in support for news: supporting both inline news and pages (see the demo site of the theme I started from: https://alshedivat.github.io/al-folio/). For now, I have disabled the news section, but it would be trivial to reinstate. News pages could then be generated from Markdown.
