100% Crashes trying to spectate again #195

If I play a game or spectate a game I need to close and reload the game or else when I try to spectate another game I will crash after seeing the loading screen.

This is 100% reproducible on my end. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers to see if it changes anything but it did not.

This has always been the case ever since 7.0

For reference, the nine minidumps are EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ in scaleformui_4_vulkan.dll.

I have no idea what you are talking about :p It will also crash when I start with playing/spectating a normal game of dota and then trying to play an arcade game.

It will not crash when continue to play a normal game

Hello @Ispyy, are you still experiencing this issue with the 2017-03-15 Dota 2 update?

I haven't been running vulkan lately but I just tested the usual crash route with overthrow. Played a game of overthrow and tried to watch a game => crashed.

Sometimes working: Start the game, spectate a game, leave the game, spectate another game. It will still crash but I cannot reproduce ^ 100% of the time.

I'll test it with a normal game in the next days but when it crashes after a game of overthrow there's a high chance it will crash after a normal game as well.

I also thought it could be the monkey king terrain but it also happened on normal/winter terrain.

The performance update did not fix any of these issues. Also on a non vulkan related note. 30-50% of the people still crash after loading into custom games.
