Dota 2 crash while picking hero #219

Hi, Dota 2 is crashing with no msg in picking hero lobby. I read many pages about this issue (it happen to some people few years ago) but there was no solution - maybe just dota updates or somethink.

To days ago i could play with no problems, i did not change anything and now - it crashing

Hello @poder1, please copy your system information from steam (Steam -> Help -> System Information) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report. In particular, if you can find any CrashIDs or minidumps related to this issue, please include them.

Just 2 hours ago i was able to start 1 game with bots but know problem is back again.

For references, the attached minidump is an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ in nvd3dumx.dll (your video driver).

Your video card is not capable of Vulkan, while this issue tracker is for issues unique to the Vulkan backend of Dota 2. You'll want to post at http://dev.dota2.com/.

Having vulkan installed - even if you aren't using it, this problem is reproducable. Which is rather silly from a programming perspective. The fix for me was to uninstall vulkan support - even though I wasn't using it.
