How to launch Dota with 4K resolution on macOS? #1197

I have a 4K display as primary display & FullHD as secondary one. My GPU is GTX 970 with latest NVidia web driver.

All software runs in "full resolution" mode (including Steam), but Dota runs in "support" mode with max resolution = 1920*1080 and everything is scaled: Screenshot.

How to launch it with 4K support?

UPD. I've found out that if I set "exclusive full screen" it shows 4K resolution and it works fine. But in "desktop-friendly" mode it's FullHD at max.

Dota uses SDL for all of its window setup so assigning to SDL dev.

Hi guys, is there any progress or ETA? Still the only way to play in 4K is exclusive full screen.

BTW, for anyone else who experience the same problem: you can minimize the game with Cmd + H shortcut. Cmd-Tab does not work in this mode.

No progress on this issue yet? Even in windowed mode I can't choose a resolution that's above 1080p even though I have a 5K iMac. Having to use exclusive fullscreen is a pain.
