MacBook Pro M1 fps drop after 20 mins of play. #2428
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes - also tried beta
Are you using the latest stable video driver available for your system? Yes
Have you verified the game files?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Game fps starts to degradates in a time, about 20 mins of a game time. Initially its 100 fps stable, but in a time its reduced to 30 or even less. Game relaunch does not solve the issue, but relaunch of steam app solves it - also, there is really huge steam app cpu use during the game fps drop (about 80 cpu use). Also, as i notice, cpu allocated for the game is reduced once fps drops ( like, at start cpu is about 200 usage, during the fps drop its about 100) - checked by Mac Activity Monitor app. Game settings is reduced to minimum, all the steam app setting is turned off (like game overlay, some rendering stuff).
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Open dota 2
Play 20+ mins
Check fps drop + cpu use by steam app and dota app.
