[LINUX] Dota close by itself after new big update on debian stable #2659

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Launch dota. Press find match. Dota close by itself in pick phase or in early/mid/late game or even when you destroy enemy throne

Steps for reproducing this issue:

launch dota
play matches
dota close by itself

Same on Fedora, crashes 90% all the time.

Same on Arch Linux. I was getting 1-2 crash per match but after the Lunar New Year update I'm crashing in a matter of seconds even at the main menu.

no crush with alt tab. also i use xfce not gnome

For me switching to borderless mode and relaunching the game or switching to Gnome on Xorg solved the issue.

disabling the "bring dota 2 to foreground" options in advanced options seems to have helped me with this.
