Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After starting the game LMB does not work properly, I can't level my abilities, I can't open store to buy items. I can move my hero with RMB. Sometimes restarting and reconnecting helps, sometimes it does not. It started to happen somewhere after 7.36a. Ubuntu MATE 24.04, nvidia 535.171.04, X11, one monitor

I checked the replay, it looks like I'm clicking above the store icon and abilities icons. Btw. "Download replay" button was getting highlighted when my mouse coursor was about 1cm below the button. After changing display options Default/Fullscreen->Borderless Window->Default/Fullscreen the button seems to work fine. I've just noticed the same applies to "Play dota" button. It seems that mouse coursor does not represent mouse position correctly.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Find the game (turbo)
  2. Choose your hero, buy your starting items on hero selection screen
  3. After the game starts, try to choose your first ability or open items store.
  4. Or move mouse over "Play dota" button on main screen and the button will highlight when cursor is below/above

I have the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04 + Nvidia 535 and X11. Everything was fine until I upgraded my video card from Nvidia 1650 to 3050 6GB. I just turned off my pc, replaced one card with another, turn it on, start Dota and get exactly this problem.

Hello,

Are you both using MATE? Can you try a different Desktop Environment?

idzikovsky commented 1 month ago

@TTimo no, I'm using Ubuntu Unity 7.
