Failing to start with black screen #405

Hi, Since the last update(10.09.2015) my dota2 doesn't work. No sound, all huge black screen. I am using

are you seeing the dota 2 logo but stuck on it? if you see it as well, then we have the same issue.

Trying to repro this here on Ubuntu 15.04 x64 NVIDA 352.41 and not seeing it. Can you add -con_logfile to your command line and post game/dota/console.log? Can you also do Steam -> Help -> System Information and post that? Please also do Verify Game Cache on the game and finally you can try launching with -sw to start in windowed mode to see if it reveals anything else. I need to get more info to figure out what is going on.

I installed nvidia 352.41 and now I can't open steam it gives "opengl glx extension not supported by display".
