Mic Input for Voice stopped working about two weeks ago. #10332

Description

DotA 2 (and only DotA 2) stopped registering my voice about two weeks ago. Notably, I can still use Steam voice chat, Discord, Audacity, etc. In the Windows sound control panel the device is hearing me successfully.

I cannot find any relevant setting that might be causing me issues, though I admit I was just hunting through cvars looking for something that seemed relevant with the snd_ and voice_ prefixes.

still beta (try to switch steam micro settings Valve loves to assign your mic in game to the mic in Steam settings)

If you watch the video, you'll note that the Steam settings are working; that's the correct mic to use. I only have two audio devices (mic and line). I've tried disabling Line In so I only have one device... no change.

Try to find a new driver. I have same mistake when first use new external audio card.
