11 months ago You're not the only one with this issue, and it isn't dota 2 exclusive.
Somehow, in CS2, the overlay can be opened or closed, but cannot be interacted with (close tabs, moving steam chat, interacting with the browser, etc). It's almost like there's a soft lock related to the steam overlay, but opening up the steam overlay in other games (Planetside 2; Risk of Rain 2) does not produce the same unresponsiveness.
I think this happened after I viewed some player's steam profile (in CS2) and hit "View more info". Afterwards, the steam overlay browser froze, and the entire interface for the steam overlay became completely unresponsive as a result of the browser freezing. It appears that it is confined to just CS2's steam overlay and I cannot get this behavior to occur in the other games' steam overlay.
Verifying the integrity of the game cache files reveals zero missing/corrupted files, and deleting the "in-game overlay data" in the general property tab for CS2 did nothing but close the browser tab while not reversing the soft lock.
Software: Kernel - Linux 6.1.62-1 LTS; OS - Manjaro 23.0 (64-bit); KDE Plasma 5.27.9; Graphics platform - X11. Hardware: CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 x 12; Ram - 32GB; GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT; Motherboard - ASUS TUF Gaming x570 Plus wifi.

CreateSwapChain(): Failed to create VkSurfaceKHR.yesterday but u completely broke steam overlayI can open overlay but cant use it, it opens player profile pages but I cant close any tabs, cant move the window, cant use any buttons. not only browser but ANY of the overlay buttons.
