VALVE, PLS FIX MY ACCOUNT AND GAMES. #14777

Description

Why does this happen? I don't insult players. I don't break items. I always play until the end. I play the right role. I'm the best player every 3-4 games. My behaviour always 10500-12000.

As soon as I reach 2700 mmr, the streak starts down to 2000. Then I get back to 2700 with heavy games. Then again it drops to 2000.

I get teammates who buy midas in 4-5 positions. They have 10 wards in their inventory and don’t place them. Cores with 0-15.

Valve, do you think this is fun to play? What's wrong with my account? I want an explanation.

Considering the 50/50 thing that has always and will always be running in the background, no matter what's said officially, it's likely the matchmaker is trying to setup games where you're the one who will have to carry your team to victory. Yes, this basically means being matched with morons who are at least one league below you in skill, behavior or experience.

It's up to you to figure out how to organize your team and outperform both your enemies and yourself in order to come out victorious from those unfair matches, and once you've beaten that challenge you'll finally make it past 2.7K MMR. I guess consulting some advanced guides and strats on YouTube might come in handy here.

The 50/50 is in effect for all queues btw, not just ranked ones. I might be no more than a filthy casual who plays Turbo with friends most of the time, but I sure can feel it when the matchmaker says "alright buddy, now you try and carry them". It's all part of "maximizing player engagement" in the end; you can't do anything about it nor it is your fault, so don't feel bad. Just look for new ways to improve yourself until you nail it.
