DOTA 2: Could not connect to a game/matchmaking after the update #15313

Description

After the recent update, I could not get into any game nor a lobby game, it would result to abandon despite multiple attempts to reconnect. I have checked every possible checklist that would affect this issue but everything is up to date with my steam account and pc drivers etc. No issue with internet as well. This issue resulted to not playing for more than 1 hr due to multiple "abandons". Until now I could not connect to a game. No VAC bans on my account.

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP

Same issue here. Game broke after update. Starting a match you are thrown out and the 'reconnect' button is not working! I keep receiving timeouts for MY FAILURE to reconnect. This is unacceptable.
