me 2 - twice... great update
third try... the same - after check game files...
cant connect in lobby 4 pick hero.
aufter dota restart - timeban for gamesearch
Same thing, I can’t run either ranked or custom games. I can only enter the lobby if I create a local server
Does not help. but if after starting the game you re-enter Dota, you can go to the lobby
Now I can fix it!
1.go to steam library
2.right click dota2 > properties > installed files > Browse
3.Now dota2 beta folder will open
4.click game folder
5.You will see the bin folder
6.Delete bin folder
7.Back to dota2 > properties > installed files
8.Click 'Verify integrity of game files and wait for the verification to succeed
9.Play dota2!
It's worked for me
tengo el mismo problema desde la ultima actualizacion

Please check if you are running Dota2 as an administator. If you are running s an administator, remove it from the executable. how to check 1.dota2 beta >> game >> bin >> win64
If you haven't tick already , Not sure if you've tried Uninstalled dota2 and Reinstalled dota2?

• Not running as administrator • Delete BIN and verifying didn't work
Any other solutions?

I think should try reinstalling Dota 2 , Now doat2 has a new updated. Hopefully the dev will fix these problems.
Just want to confirm that deleting bin and re-verifying worked for me. I had previously uninstalled and reinstalled via Steam, but into the same location. Since deleting just the bin folder manually worked, my guess is that the permissions/ACLs on the folders or files needed to be recreated to match some new security expectation introduced with the recent patch.
But since this doesn't work for everyone, and we're all scrambling trying everything we can, I bet there are multiple new security requirements causing various issues. It might be that a checklist approach is the only way until Valve clarifies or issues a fix.
Still broken. Fwiw, when I select "Properties..." from the Steam client on Linux, nothing happens (no properties window). Was working for a time yesterday after two patches. Not working this morning for me. I can find a match, but then get "Connecting..." and am assessed with an abandon. Latest ban was 45 minutes. Would be nice if you could at least clear abandon counting so that we're not punished for checking if the bug is fixed. Thanks for working on this! Reinstalling steam might have helped yesterday so I'll give that another try.
Estaba funcionando bien el dota hasta q lanzaron la update de 50 megas esa, el dota no me deja buscar partidas proque dice que lo estoy ejecutando como administrador, he realizado todos los pasos que describen y sigue dando el mismo problema

Verify that you have finished this step >> https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/15348#issuecomment-1936765946 If that doesn't work, I think you should try reinstalling dota2.
Works after completely reinstalling steam + dota. Still can't access dota properties (even though I have no beta chosen), but that's a separate and relatively minor issue at this point :) Thanks!
I'm having a slightly different issue but none of these steps helped with it, I will be in a game for 5-10 mins and then it crashes and can't reconnect. Never happened before the update and now has happened 2x. Scared to queue #15282

In my opinion If you try to follow the 3 steps (Deleted bin folder , not run as administrator , reinstalling dota2) but it doesn't work.
Should try repairing Windows files using this method 1) Open cmd with run as administrator 2) Copy the following command and paste it.
Ref: https://arnav.au/2023/10/06/dism-command-to-repair-windows-image/
I'm not sure if repairing Windows files will work or not...
I apologize if this didn't work and the ban period was extended 😢

Or try this method, it might work! https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/15387#issuecomment-1937162636
Still a problem 2 weeks later. In our partys case, it seems players in US East cannot connect to EU West, but we can do vice-versa. ISP is Telus.

I'm surprised that this issue is happening on Windows! I am getting that on Ubuntu, nothing works including integrity verification and reinstall. Willing to provide logs if you tell me where you put it, Valve.

I did some digging:
And I experience the issue. No logs, nothing else. I did not fix it. There is nothing you can do. This issue must be handled by Valve.
Its an easy fix for valve just increasing the waiting for players time to +15 secs instead kicking them out, one thing i noticed its when this happens CPU consumptions goes over 60 % just to ''join a game'' it has real BAD performance issues this new patch Please Valve if you read this until you have a better performance solution just increase the waiting time and this will solve 99 % of this issue cases :)
same issue
Description
How can I fix it? It happened after I updated Dota2 this morning (after the update there was a dragon's hoard treasure box) and when I did find match and when I found a match and I pressed accept. I got kicked out of the main menu and couldn't connect back. After that I tried find match 4-5 more times but got kicked and banned again.
Now i can fix it. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/15348#issuecomment-1936695427
