4 months ago Oh wow. It works if I put those two in the launch options. What does it mean? What is wrong? A little annoying to play if I cannot have it full screen. Is there any fix I can do so I don't have to put those launch options in?

You can try to run it with: -sw -noborder in launch options.
This options just making the game run in windowed mode and borderless window mode. After launching the game you can try to change it to Fullscreen in the game settings (or change resolution) if you need and see if the game crashes or not. You can find similar opened issues from other Dota players on MacOS for the last week or so.

Description
Dota 2 does not launch anymore. Worked always without a problem. And from one day to another it just doesn't open anymore. I tried everything. Reinstalling the game, -autoconfig and - safe mode, Updating my Mac (currently 14.3.1 Sonoma), Checking the files for corrupted ones. But when u press play it takes 5 sec and then the Dota 2 loading screen appears for 1 sec and goes red and just cancels and I am back in Steam. Any suggestions?
