Reporting smurfs does not work - Smurfs in every game #15630

Description

Thanks for banning all the overplus users, unfortunately we now have smurfs in every single game. Party ranked in legend/ancient is unplayable.

I report smurfs every day, but not a single action has been taken since last year.

i dont think they are smurfs, maybe you are just low skill

thats the point, if i'm low skill, the other players also should be low skill, since it's matchmaking. Now delete your account and stop being an idiot in every thread here.

this is suspicious accounts from just this weekend. Typical profiles like, low amount of games, no cosmetics, low mmr account party with high mmr account, playing way above bracket level, "returning player after months/years without a game", multiple rampages/rankups, complaining about skill level in the bracket, spamming "solo heroes".

Did you look at the replays? I looked at the PA replay (7603829871) and I'd sooner believe PA's account was boosted.

0:47-0:54 — In just these 7 seconds this is already case closed. 3:00 — No PA smurf would initiate on a full health NP with Dawn repawning given both PA and SS were already low. Any decent player would also have ferried regen by now. 5:00 — My man is 3-1-4 in the freest lane of his life and has 12 CS. This PA doesn't know what creep aggro is. And that's why he's Legend. In this game PA may feel like a smurf because the entire lane was Dawn and NP chain feeding PA free kills, but he probably tower dives himself into 20 minute battle fury timings in games when enemies don't gift him free lanes.

There are far more low skill moments than these in just these five minutes (I actually watched the first 20 minutes), and this PA is not suspicious in the slightest. Not denying that there could be smurfs in your other games, but the point is that you ought to watch the replays first. There's nothing suspicious inherently about getting stomped (The game was even fairly even for the most part.)

I didn't watch the PA game, it was just a suspicious profile from one of my friends game. It was only based on his profile info. only dota 2 on steam, level 39 ingame, already legend after 600 lifetime games of dota. This makes him climb faster than one of the greatest gamers of all time, Grubby. If he continues with this pace, he will reach immortal in about 1k games played, a real talent.
