Description

Sven illusions don't cleave? Normal or not? Illusion heroes passives work, why not great Cleave?

does cleave works if you buy battlefury? No. does kunka tidebringer works if you buy manta? i think it shows the animation but no dmg either. so currently sven cleave does not work either, probably for balance / dev lazy to fix all cleaves Maybe someday.

It's just weird that illusion crits work, and illusion Medusa split shot, even PL 3rd works. Lots of passives work on illusions

Not a bug. Cleave has never worked on illusions since WC3 Dota.

It's intentional that illusions look like they're cleaving.

Fixed Battle Fury not faking on illusions.

it's just currently too strong and unbalanced if melee illusions can splash / cleave. even radiance reduced dmg on illusions 35 dmg. imagine each illusion deal 66 splash dmg. 2 illusions 132. hero itself maybe 150 splash. with godstrength 180% might be 500 dmg at least? thats 630 splash minimum already with no other items. and do you realise how huge is sven aoe? then all sven hv to do is just blink manta hit few times and all enemy heroes die.. image and what if 4-5 bfury / moonshards bought? additional 280%-350% splash for illusions? thats at least 180 dmg per illusion then

crits work on illusions but only single target (crits do not apply to cleaved targets) and because illusions only calculate base dmg. you buy 5 rapiers + daedalus does nothing, crits might show 4000 dmg but actually 140 dmg (assuming base dmg is ~66). image

medusa, luna etc a lot of passives that work on illusions takes a while to be very strong late game i think.. they're actually pretty weak. a lot of passives that can be very strong are not applied, like ursa passive / bash / sandking caustic finale
