Description
It has happened maybe 5-10 times during last few years. After good win streak (like 10 games) you face very heavy loss streak (like 10-20) games almost immediately. These games are practically unwinnable, griefing and abandoning or very bad team mates and your opponents are filled with one or more obvious smurfs. I understand my own play detoriates as the loss streak gets worse. But even with bad play, one should not face loss streak of 13 or even 21 games in a row.
I play pos3 most of the games. In these games I do the most dmg, take most dmg, fight hard to protect or create space and try everything I can. Most of these games I win my lane and dominate enemy carry. And almost all of these games pos1 and pos2 have almost zero impact to the game, causing game to be lost in first 30 mins. I feel somehow the matchmaker sets my hidden MMR (or some other hidden power figure) way too high after the win streak and does not drop it at all during loss streak. This puts me in the position, that I should play pro level dota to win a single game.
This cannot be explained by random or mathematical variance, as same phenomenon has happened like 5-10 times during past few years. And yes, it is true story, loss streak of 21 games and multiple 13+ game loss streaks. Again, mathematics or psychology cannot explain such extreme events repeating again and again. I suspect there is some logical unfavourable reason behind this. And players experiencing this are in great danger to leave Dota2 forever.
