For the last few months, I've heard a persistent audio loop when I'm in the main menu of Dota that hasn't resolved itself across updates, reinstalling, or verifying the integrity of my game cache. To make matters more complicated, I've been told by friends that if they go to my Dota profile, they hear the audio distortion even after they go away from my profile until they restart the client. This audio issue only applies to the main menu. I don't hear it in-game, only in the menu. After a game, the audio issue immediately returns once I'm in the main menu again.
For some reason, viewing my profile seems to cause a persistent audio bug until restarting the client. For me, this audio issue never goes away. This may suggest that there's some issue bound to my account, but frankly I'm deeply confused by what could be causing this issue. The sound is like stomping on gravel. My steam ID is d2lynx.
