Got abandon penalty and player behaviour score reduced when i did not abandon. #19141

Description

Got abandon penalty and player behaviour score reduced when i did try to reconnect game and i did not abandon game was over when i disconnected. any help about that??

Example Match ID (and possibly Timestamp)

Same thing happened to me multiple times. I think I've been given three abandons in the past week from this. After the game ends, it says 'Match Results are still pending..." then drops you back in the main menu with the option to reconnect or abandon. Clicking reconnect just redirects you back to the main menu, and then if you abandon... You get an abandon. I have also gotten to this point and closed the game. Upon launching it the following day, I still have those Reconnect or Abandon options. Clicking abandon gave me a 20 minute cooldown and I'm surely in the low-priority pool at this point. I have also noticed that my match-history has not been able to update either.

Computer crashes (BSOD). Reboots in the end. I manage to open Dota 2. It says reconnect to not receive an abandon... I re-connect. I am 10 lvs behind... but the game is already on the winning side for our team. I play, we win. I don't get rewards for the Crown's fall reward.... and I can't play for 10m because abandon. I check my game history and I've been assigned an abandon.

I am 10 lvs behind... but the game is already on the winning side for our team. I play, we win. I don't get rewards for the Crown's fall reward.... and I can't play for 10m because abandon. I check my game history and I've been assigned an abandon.

Its normal bro, if you leave/disconnect the match in anyway (like reboot or dota crash etc) and cooldown hits 5mins you will definitely get abandon penalty but in my case, I didn't disconnect in any order still you can see I got abandoned

Ya man that's the problem I faced in that match, and now my profile score is 8.7k from 9.8k. Its hard to increase your profile score if problems like these occur anytime.

It doesn't matter if you reconnect or abandon at that (5mins mark after you disconnect) point, that's not a game or server error/problem bro, if you leave match more than 5mins & "IF" someone DID'NT leave that match before you disconnecting the match then you are definitely going to get cooked (abandoned).

It doesn't matter if you reconnect or abandon at that (5mins mark after you disconnect) point, that's not a game or server error/problem bro, if you leave match more than 5mins & "IF" someone DID'NT leave that match before you disconnecting the match then you are definitely going to get cooked (abandoned).

That's not the problem in my case though, as you saw I didn't abandon the game and I left the game when my team's throne was about to get 2 last hits to destroy.
