This has been an issue before and was supposedly fixed (works in demo mode). However, the behavior of Shadow Realm in demo mode is different from a real lobby. I suspect this is because the player has full control of all heroes in demo mode.
Problem:
When Dark Willow is in Shadow Realm, an ally cannot target Dark Willow unless using the top bar portrait.
I need to reiterate that the following examples can only be reproduced in a real lobby with each player controlling one hero, such as a custom All Pick lobby.
Example:
Dark Willow enters Shadow Realm
Ally Dazzle attempts to cast Shallow Grave by clicking on Dark Willow's hero model
Cast is unsuccessful and the game says no valid targets
Example 2:
Dark Willow enters Shadow Realm
Ally Dazzle attempts to cast Shallow Grave by clicking on Dark Willow's mini-portrait on the top bar
