Act 1 Token given while Act 2 is active #19237

Description

Bug Description

Act 2 was active. When the game finished, the game gave me Act 1 tokens for Undying. Prior to starting the game, Act 1 was active. When in character select, Act 2 was selected to be active using the drop down menu available in hero select. When the game finished, Act 1 tokens were given. Afterwards, the post-game menu was exited and Act 2 was found to be active based on the Crownfall interface in the home menu.

Other Helpful Information: The steam username is mjosh98 and the player is playing the Undying in the game.

wheres the bug? you had act 1 active before you accepted the game so you get act 1 tokens. this is like trying to change your steam nickname during character selection / draft. will still show your previous nickname and will not update until post-game.

you should have plenty of time to change act 1 or act 2 active while queuing. you can even minimise accept game window after accepting to quickly change before it loads..

It sometimes switches you to act 1 after loading the game, its not a bug but a nuisance, happened to me too

Crownfall_Pic To clarify on the bug description, the drop down menu I mentioned is shown above. It is the menu present in the hero select screen when a game starts. Clicking Crownfall allows you to highlight heroes whose tokens you need. By selecting the drop down menu by clicking where it lists the selected act, you are able to change which act is active. I assumed this would affect the tokens I would get form the game, but if that is not the intended purpose, then you can mark this issue as resolved.

so what happens if you have act 2 active, accepts game then when during drafting you change to act 1 from that menu? will you still get act 2 or act 1 tokens?

image nvm i tested for you, it gives act 1. so i was wrong you still can change during hero selection / drafting until the end of strategy time. thats plenty of time to change which act you want should close the issue i think
