Description Hi Steam support,

I was experiencing a problem with matchmaking. I always get stuck in a screen after I accept every game and then get a penalty right after because I wasn't able to make it to the actual game.

Your kind help please to look onto this problem.

Changing the resolution to lowest before proceeding with match finding.
Restarted Dota2
Delete the bin folder and verify files
Reinstalling the dota2 itself.
Restarted my PC.
Changing Internet connection.

None of these really worked.

My id is 191036930! I have been playing this game for at least 10 years and never had this problem before this update. I could play custom games with no problems but NONE of the DOTA matches

I have the same issue, My hero selection screen is blacked out and getting a game is less than 50 50

I get dc penalty of 45 mins too , I even tried a diff account, I have a single draft penalty cuz of this.

I have the same problem since the release of patch 7.36 Usually, after I entered the game with bots, the games started normally, but recently this method did not always work

While using vulkan as the rendering api you can get into the game with in 8sec max reference https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/19437

Bois this was it for me, fixed my issue with disconnecting from match, switched to vulcan now its going so far. I tried all else, deleting bin, not running as admin, reinstalled dota, reinstalled steam. What is a bit peculiar to me is that i have almost same setup in all the else hardware specs, but on one PC i have RTX 2080 and on the other 1080. I had this issue on the pc where the RTX 2080 is, 1080 running smooth without switching to vulcan.

Try command connect in console after all confirm and starting loading match (black screen before hero pick) -i think it works, but may be placebo))

and try minimal screen resolution
