LEGACY KEY DONT WORK AND SKILL ALWAYS IN QUICKCAST WHEN ALREADY DISABLE IT. #19896

Description

im a legacy key player . after the crownfall update, my hero always using a quickcast even im disable it . im not used to quickcast so it really mess up my game. losing mmr just because i cant see the range finder for my skill. another thing , even i turn on the DOUBLE TAP ABILITY TO SELF CAST , the thing just cant used just because the quickcast problem . i need to be really careful when im using my mouse . i really dont enjoy playing dota for now till this thing is fix

I had the same problem yesterday after the update that added act 3. I tried several ways and the only option was to temporarily disable the legacy option and manually enter the keys until it is resolved.

experienced this also, but I have created a workaround with this one:

Step by Step Procedure:

1st: Key bind the console with your desired key (located in Advanced Hotkeys) image

2nd: Close your game then go to steam right click dota 2 then click properties then in the launch options type in -console image

3rd: Open your game make sure legacy key is selected, then open console by your keybind then type this one: dota_ability_legacy_mode_quick_cast false
