Game client will fail to load match upon matchmaking and auto-ban you as if you had dodged a match #20372

Windows 11 user

Computer Information: Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Model: ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506IV_TUF566IV Form Factor: Laptop No Touch Input Detected

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Upon accepting a match and going to hero selection screen, the loading will bug, disconnect you and automatically ban you as if you had dodged on purpose.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1 - launch a match (i used ranked role matches) 2 - wait for a match and accept it as normal 3 - upon accepting, you will be taken to the hero selection lobby 4 [BUG OCCURING STEP] - the game will fail to load the hero selection screen, and be stuck an empty black HUD 5 - you will be stuck like this for several seconds, then the game will disconnect you 6 - you be sent back to the game client and will be asserted with a temporary matchmaking ban as if you had abandoned the match (even though you didn't)

I just had this same issue. Hopefully this didn't negatively affect my account.

Just happened to me 2 times in a row. Banned for 15min atm. Except on my end the ready never "popped'. Went from searching match to red play button

it most likely did. Dodging/abandoning more than once a week will lower your behavior score

Bumping up this bug. It is a very annoying bug who has not beeng adressed in the latest patches and must be resolved asap. Getting constantly restricted for no reason is unacceptable
