behavior score is not raising #21087

Description

behavior score is compeletly broken i cant raise behavior at all im getting +50 +100 for 15 turbo games i cant find rank game waited more than 80mins to find a rank game cuz my mmr is above 6k i lost behavior becuz of abondons i got for internet and now i cant raise behavior at all im stuck at 5k behavior

I dont know WHY this developers so dont care about game, may be just sell game for someone that want do human things?

as long as u r not american player (QUIN) crying about ur behavior score they wont give a fuck rly impressed with valve he cried about his score then they gave him like 3k points im playing turbo 500 games still stuck

you que a turbo game u matchup with 4 russians they report becuase u r not russian and u get -400 score )))))))))

same brother . ive played normal games so i can gain high behavior points but im still stuck at 5.4k behavior points . think i played 15 normal games (15hours) and idk if one random person reported me or something but after 15games they decrease my behavior score like wtf

Whatever changes the devs recently did for how much BS you raise did not trickle into how much weight are put into reports. No one wants to play to grind behavior store. Instead the devs should really tie behavior punishment with shit people actually care about so that they have a deterrent.

To be honest I'm not sure that deterrent is a best practice on solving issues. Also I'm not sure that stigmatizing is a solution.

For example, some type of tying behavior punishment may just motivate people to register more new accounts. In My opinion the question is partly about how objective is behavior system and is it enough gradation to most of the styles and purposes people play.

The other way is that tying behavior punishment may increase chances of necessary to grind behavior store to that accounts that has an issue with behavior rating.

For example, it is important to understand if someone play style rating is 1_000 scores, but then a person changed the playstyle, purpose, and way of communication are there any chances to the account to rise up Behavior rating automatically without of necessary to grind.

@vanndano What is Your opinion about how objective behavior system is for now? Do You have any ideas about possible additional politics that may be useful to follow to potential improvement of the system? Is there any weakness in the Behavior system in Your opinion?

imagine you have 4k behavior score u play turbo games like 150 so if you suck other players dick you will get 1500 behavior but if a 4 stack team report you in a single game you will get -200to -500 behavior score so my question is how can i raise my behavior score to play a single ranked game?

Not always, for example even 5 reports , may be not an issue in 10_000+ behavior scores image

I see several opportunities: First of all is Reflection—it can be extremely useful to try to understand what actions motivate some people to report the account. Secondly, it might be helpful to directly ask teammates about their expectations and reasons. Lastly, try playing Turbo and Unranked matches, as teammate expectations for playstyle tend to be much broader in these modes.
