Unable to establish connection with game server #21937

Description

I cannot start the solo game with bots. My game fails to load and after 10-15 seconds I am back on on home screen with message "Disconnected from Server. Unable to establish connection with gameserver."

Steps I already concluded: verification of files, dns flush, uninstalled both Dota + Steam Client with clean install again. I also tried various launch options, none of them worked.

My Steam Client and Dota versions are up-to-date.

Having the same issue with Macbook M1 Pro.

Having the exact same issue, no fixes suggested by support when I reported it to them. M2 MacBook Air on latest version of MacOS.

Also tried the same fixes that OP reported, with no success. I can start unranked games as normal.

I also tried making a game from a custom lobby and had the exact same problem.

The settings don’t matter, I’ve tried all variations of bots and difficulty.
