MacOS stuttering, frame drops, poor performance #2910

This issue has plagued macbooks on and off for years but it seemed to finally be fixed at the patch prior to the battlepass. Now with the battlepass out it is happening literally every other second. It's really a shame because this is one of my favorite games but I just can't seem to do anything to fix it. Please Valve and Jeff, do something regarding this issue. I've tried a full uninstall and reinstall and it doesn't seem to fix the issue whatsoever.

I have a similar bug: in the main menu and during the game fps is stable and high: 80-100. But as soon as I go to "settings" or some other section, for example, "heroes" - literally after a few seconds the fps drops to 20, and after a few more seconds the fps drops to 1. I have to do it quickly every time I want to change the settings or test a new hero, up to frame drop, or restart the game.

Macbook Pro 16" 2021 M1 Pro 16Gb RAM Macos Ventura (but the bug was noticed on both Big Sur and Monterey)
