FPS limiter not working #5168

the in game fps limiter is no longer working, i am getting 500 fps in game

CPU Melter

After the last Update I´m experiencing 950 to 1400 fps on Dota 2´s Main Menu even with the settings for the game set to 90 FPS for gameplay and 60 fps for the menu.

The PC Fans are all going full throttle as soon as I open the game and, even so, I can feel the heat comming from inside the Desktop imediately. The core temperatures are going up as are core the voltages.

I did reinstall the game but the issue persists. I won´t even dare to reopen it to take a screenshot. While this hasn´t been adressed It´s just impossible to play Dota 2.

It reminded me when that game, New World, cooked those RTX 3090 Video Cards. I wonder if I'm the only one having this issue (now i see I´m not).
