[Networking] The game freezes often during higher server utilization? #6017

This week the game started to immediatelly freeze on connection loss. I suspect it happens when the network connection has even minor outages. In the game all the movements stop, but cursor is responsive.

When the connection loss had hapened before, the client could recover from minor loss, or if not, it returned to main view, where reconnect could be pressed. Now restart of the client is needed, but the problem repeats. (~6 restarts per game => red button)

I guess this happened as someone tried to improve the robusness and ability of the client to recover during outages, so I'll keep my fingers crossed in that regard.

Thanks

Yesterday night it was happening again - looks like it has to do with higher server utilization (~7 restarts in one game). It's happening also on Windows clients as I've been told.

Here is a list of main reasons that may cause your games to freeze in Windows 10/8/7: High CPU or RAM Memory usage. Graphics card low performance. Low Internet speed, unstable network connection. One Cognizant Portal Login
