Microphone Current Record Level empty

Description

My microphones (2) work everywhere outside Dota 2 under windows 11. Both microphones work inside Dota 2 in windows 10.

Windows 10: Microphones work everywhere just fine.

Windiws 11: Microphone is working inside every other app - windows, teams. discord, facebook video chat. The microphone even works inside Steam Voice Chat with a fiend and inside the Test Micriphone from Steam's Friend List Setting:

As you can see there is a green bar and I can hear myself fine in Steam. Also talking to a friend via Steam Voice Call works!

However, Microphone fails to pick anything inside Steam Settings or inside Dota 2.

Also if you go to "Steam voice settings" the microphone test DOES NOT work anymore and nothing seems to solve the issue. If you have any suggestions, please do tell. I suspect it is how Dota 2 interacts with Windows 11 or some setting withing Dota or the OS itself.

My Windows 11 is original, bought from microsoft.com and is fully updated. Re-installing Windows completely did not solve the issue. Audio Drivers are recent and no other program has any problems using the microphone.

Privacy and Security on the microphone is also allowed for any program within Windows 11. I have 2 working microphones, and they behave similarly - they both work for everything, besides Dota 2.

same here( tried to use 2 mics (2x3.5mm jack) and 1 via USB), also tried bluetooth mic. All mics work in all apps (steam as well) but not in dota. whats wrong???
