When starting the dota 2 client, the cursor is missing

Description

Hi, ever since the aghanims labyrinth update, the cursor is missing when I launch dota about 25% of the time. This happens to some friends of mine to aswell as I found a reddit thread about it and how to fix it preliminary. What I have to do is open the console and enter into a local aghanims hub and exit to get the cursor to appear again.

I've noticed this happening sometimes when I am alt-tabbed on another window when the main menu screen loads (i.e. I am alt-tabbed when the dota 2 logo finishes). Is that when you observe it as well?

I've experimented quite alot with it and it seems to occur regardless of me tabbing out or not but I can't say for certain. I use two monitors with dota on one of them and random programs on the other.

steam library -> Dota 2 -> RMB -> properties -> controller -> disable input system ;)

Actually I have had this issue in the past week with the mini updates, not since the agh update. My solution to it was making sure the application is in focus while launching and that resolves it. But if I click launch game and bring another app in focus ( click on app), then the in game mouse doesn't show up. So I just click launch game and don't click on anything else and don't have this issue anymore.

Thanks for the tips guys! Regardless, I think this is something which should be looked at and fixed in case newer players experience the same issues.

Yes, same problem, though for me it started since last major.

I have to restart Dota several times before the cursor actually show up and it is annoying
