same here stuck in loading screen and not responding
I am able to start the game after today's patch but it's with -vulkan launch option and FPS is 15 at max.. Doesn't really solve my issue but at least I know it wasn't my PC's problem
Bruh we had the same issue. Valve doesnt seems to care about this.
Description
Was playing fine after the new patch but two nights ago, my dota 2 screen froze midway through a game and I haven't been able to start dota ever since. At first it will just show a frozen screen on the main menu once I load in but after updating my drivers and trying various methods, the game seems to crash after I try to click anything or sometimes won't even bring me to the main menu screen.
I have tried uninstalling Dota 2, deleting all files, reinstalling the game. Updating graphic drivers, tried various launch methods (-safe_mode, -dx11, -vulkan) and all of which have not work. On some occasions, I also get BSOD with 'System_Thread_Exception_Not_Handled' and nvlddmkm.sys.
Screenshots for my laptop specs can be found below. If it affects anything, my entire setup is connected via a Dell USB C dock and my laptop is a Dell XPS 15 9570. I have tried unplugging the dock to start up Dota 2 too and it still crashes.
(Edit) Now that I am able to start Dota again, I narrowed it down to this string of code (first image below) that is causing Dota 2 to crash when running it with DX11
Example Match ID (and possibly Timestamp)
