Skeletal Archers not attacking units (Clinkz) #9082

Death Pact - Tar Bomb - Skeleton Walk - Burning Army

Description

Skeletal Archer's summoned by Clinkz are not auto attacking any units unless instructed to do so by usage of Tar Bomb on a target. Skeletal Archers will stand idle, perform no actions, until instructed to attack a unit hit by Tar Bomb. They will then auto-attack the Tar Bomb target until the target cannot be attacked further. If the target returns to an attackable state (i.e. ghost sceptre ends, walks back into range, etc.) the archers will NOT attack them. They will only attack upon the first attack order caused by Tar Bomb and then will perform no further actions.

Affects Skeletal Archers summoned by Death Pact, Skeleton Walk and Burning Army.

How to replicate:

  1. Join any game as Clinkz.
  2. Summon a Skeletal Archer using any of the 3 affected abilities (Death Pact, Skeleton Walk, Burning Army) next to an enemy creep, hero, tower or neutral creep.
  3. Observe the issue.

Issue observed in Demo mode, a bot match and a live ranked match.

This seems to be related to the auto attack option. Turning auto attack to "Always" made the skeletal archers start shooting enemies without requiring a tar bomb first.

having the same problem as well...... this is frustrating....
