Translator #9167

Please add a translator into dota for chats. Perhaps not all languages but the 3 most used. Maybe even if we could translate the most used phrases that would be great thanks

we don't need translator. we just need the ability to highlight chat back.

previously we can highlight chat to copy paste in google translate browser but this feature was removed some patches ago. i think year 2020 or something

Ok thanks for that. I know of many that would agree that we need a translator. Alt tabbing is not ideal especially when you want all of your computer resources focused on running the game optimally. Give the translating to the dota servers. Scenario: Just about to gank Pudge while he stands, as he usually does, behind something to hook and fresh meat you. There is a chat in hieroglyphics with some info that may be important. Hang on, alt tab quickly is not ideal, you've just been: Who knows what pudge does to his victims :)

well if we add translator in dota... it will cause more burden on weak pc that does not need translator. and what if teammates / enemy spam chat that requires translation and cause server to dc while trying to translate? this could be abused and unnecessary.

should close this issue.. i think no point to have translator
