In 7.33, there was a patch note saying "Allied units can now target Dark Willow when in Shadow Realm". This was a huge quality of life improvement for Dark Willow. However, it seems the underlying issue is more complex.
Here is what is fixed:
Dark Willow can now use items on herself during Shadow Realm.
Allied heroes can target Dark Willow during Shadow Realm in DEMO MODE.
1 is a real fix (much appreciated!). 2 is where the problem lies. If you test it solo, everything works. But if you create a lobby with another player, such that you don't have direct control over the allied hero, they still cannot target Dark Willow during Shadow Realm. I've tried this with Dazzle and Dark Seer.
